Chapter 1:

The last time she saw them, they were just lifeless bodies laying on the floor. “Why, why was it me that had to face this?” she said.

Soon after Anna's alarm rang,  Anna woke up and gazed at the window with the brightness shining towards her. It made her eyes want to close again and go back to sleep. Right then she remembered that it was her first day of high school. “I better get ready fast so that I don’t be late and make a bad impression on everyone,” Anna said. She quickly packed up for school and went on the bus. When she got to class, she sat down on her chair and sighed with relief. “I don’t think it would be so bad after all, besides who isn't nervous for the first day of high school”. But once people started coming in she could tell that everyone around her was relaxed and looked excited. Anna then realized that she was the only one nervous. 

Ring! The loud alarm rang which meant that class had started. Everybody was waiting for the teacher to come to class since she was 10 minutes late. Right after she came in she rang a loud bell which startled everyone in the class. Everyone was shocked and just looked annoyed at the teacher for ruining their first day of high school. Later she made everyone introduce themselves in front of the class so that they could get to know each other. It was Anna’s turn to introduce herself. She nervously went up to the front desk and said “Hello, my name is Anna, I am currently 14 years old and I was born in Australia. I later moved to South Korea when I was 10.”
