Rules: In the Switch! verse, most everyone is the opposite of what they are in the cannon Monsters and Men Universe - so for example, Laurie is the nightwalker, Gideon is the sapien. Some are not the opposite to keep with cannon elements - such are Laurie's parents both being sapiens, since they can't be both novus as they wouldn't have been able to mate and have children. But in general, if they are a novus in the cannon story, then they are sapien in the Switch verse.
