Riley has fallen into a dimension that is not her own, leaving her with nothing but a magical polearm, a pair of handguns, and a desire to get home. She meets another outworlder named Brynn, a stealthy fire mage cursed by a cloak with a lack of identity and a muffled presence in the world. The pair will need to learn to trust each other and help each other grow stronger to survive in this strange, dying world.
