The twelve guests, all stood in the main hall. 

Odyssey, Matt, James, Mia, Lewis, Daniel, Vicky, Troy, William, Bill, Floyd, and Karen all stood with their invitation letters in their hand. The Main Hall was beautiful, with gold surrounding the floor, diamonds and jewels sparkling in the chandelier. 

Everyone started to look around, and Odyssey found a note on the table. "What's that?" Everyone stood around Odyssey. The note read: Day One: Killer Festivities! 

Karen backed away. "Killer? As in, kill?" Matt stared at her, suspicious."What are you trying to point out?" Karen tried to defend her exasperated claim,"Uh.. I mean.. Wait what?!" Everyone was confused. Troy yelled at everyone to quiet down. "Everyone calm down! You are overthinking it. Maybe the "Host" wanted us to have some fun festivities!" Everyone nodded their heads listening to Troy. "Maybe the guy is in the kitchen! Matt, Odyssey, come with me." The trio walked away.

Karen was fiddling with her fingers. "I need to go use the restroom!" 

Karen went to the restroom. Suddenly, a note slipped through the door. She opened the note, and screamed. Gunshots fired. 

Startling the guests, the gunshots were heard all through the mansion. Troy and the others came rushing back. "What the heck happened?!" Vicky yapped about the gunshots. "Wait. Where's Karen?" They went to the bathroom. Troy forced the door open.

Karen's body was on the bathroom floor, gunshots on her back and the back of her head. Two notes were lying on the floor. One of the notes were in Karen's hand. It read: GOODBYE.

Another note was on the floor.

Hello my well-esteemed guests! As you know, this isn't a normal party. Someone has been murdered, and it was one of you. I am the "Host" but I am also a guest! I hope you figure out this little murder mystery....

Troy looked at everyone in the mansion. "Who did it?"
