Seo Sunwoo held his umbrella as the rain started pouring harder. He sighed, walking toward the school entrance. He came with his friend. Son Doyoon. As usual, the two of them walks into the classroom. They took a seat and took off their bags.
"Hey, did you finish the project?" Doyoon asked.
"No. Did you?" Sunwoo answered.
"Yes! today's the submission date. You should finish it! I'll help you! For Free!"
"It doesn't matter. No matter how hard i try, I will never fulfill my parent's expectations anyway."
"Well, sure? but something is always better than nothing."
"I would be wasting my time for something they see as nothing."
"Okay.."
[Hours Later]
"Class, pass your project." the teacher said.
"Wait, where's yours, Sunwoo?" the teacher asked.
"Nothing." Sunwoo answered.
"What do you mean?"
"I got Nothing. What about it?"
"Do you want to fail school?"
"I couldn't care less."
Their teacher was mad furious.
The Bell rang and signaled lunchtime.
"Let's go, Sunwoo!" Doyoon shouted in the hallways as he smiled.
"I need to go to the bathroom. I'll come." Sunwoo answered.
"Okay!!" Doyoon replied.
Sunwoo walked to the bathroom but a group of guys stood there, blocking the entrance.
"Excuse me." Sunwoo asked politely.
The guys stopped him. It's the usual bullies—Jang Jiho and Lee Minho.
"Why are you here?" Jiho blocked the way and asked Sunwoo.
"To pee, Obviously." Sunwoo answered
"To pee? you mean cut classes? Old trick in the book." Minho said.
"Wasn't talking to you." Sunwoo replied.
"Aww, How tough. What's your bracelet say? I Love Mom?" Jiho said with a mocking grin.
"I don't have time for this, next time." Sunwoo said and bumped into the guy's shoulders.
Sunwoo walked into the cubicle.
Jiho knocked into the cubicle aggressively.
"Stop it." Sunwoo said calmly.
Sunwoo proceeds to kick the door down.
He takes a hit on Jiho.
Jiho Dodges.
Jiho kicks Sunwoo.
Sunwoo falls to the ground.
Minho jumps on Sunwoo.
Sunwoo Grunts.
Sunwoo stood up and elbowed the both of them.
Sunwoo ran outside, fixed his uniform and went on, as if nothing happened.
Sunwoo walked to the cafeteria and sat with Doyoon.
"What took you so long?" Doyoon asked.
"The cubicles were full." Sunwoo answered.
"Oh, okay. Anyways, did you meetup with them yesterday? They called me and asked where you were."
"Who's them?" Doyoon asked.
"The popular kids that claimed to be our friend. Soomin, Jimin and Minji." Doyoon answered.
"Ah, the Troublemakers. I don't wanna be associated with them. My life is already a disaster, I can't make it worse." Sunwoo answered.
"Why? What happened?" Doyoon asked.
"Didn't you hear? The last time they got expelled is because they bought drugs from seniors, and sold it to highschool students like us. And there's a rumor running, they abducted a student in our school, and used them to hide themselves." Sunwoo explained.
"What?!?!?!? That's disturbing."
[A few hours later, the school day ends.]
"Bye, Sunwoo!!" Doyoon shouted across the streets parting their ways.
"Bye." Sunwoo said back.
Sunwoo rode the bus. They arrived at the Hardware Store. It wasn't his stop, but Sunwoo stepped off.
"Do I really need to do this?" Sunwoo thought to himself.
He walked out of the store with a bag of rope.
