                                                                 CHAPTER 1:return of past in present

i was sipping my wine waiting for my friend. i look around pretty bored of my life when i heard my name in crowd. i look behind and there he was my friend who was hour late for our date. i just raise my hand so he can notice me. he see me and seat opposite of my seat crashing dramatically. denial he was tall not too muscular not too skinny and the glass he wearing make him look more innocent but believe me he not innocent. denial is recently joined in our team as a officer. i just smile at him and with sign language i asked "how was your day" and denial reply "don't ask, too many cases and my little mind cant take it, i miss you" i smile at his reply and with sign language i said "you talk like i didn't work with you. you practically glued with me" denial read my hand and said "yeah yeah do you remember Spyder gang? i heard their leader is back, you must be careful" i just nodded and reply "don't worry i don't think they will come after me , if they wanted to hurt me they will definitely try to hurt you" denial laugh and said "yeah disadvantages of being your boyfriend" i gave big smile at his reply right now it almost become our inner joke that denial is my boyfriend. on mission he play my boyfriend role so many time that now our team also started to ship us. we talked about our work for an hour and went to our way. i was driving to go home when my phone ring. my first instinct was to ignore because first i cant speak, second no one from my team call me, they either msg me or talk face to face. i look at phone it was denial, i frown, it wired and suspicious that he called me. i picked phone and there was a silence on other side and after minutes i heard a scream. it was denial scream, i panicked and quickly open my gps to trace his location. i turn my car and started to follow denial location. we all teammate have a ring with gps in case of emergency as i started to follow his gps i took shortcut to reach their faster. after a chasing i finally see that car, i overtook it and stop car. it been while i use my fighting skill and i think it time to use my skill. i get out of car holding my gun ready to shoot. as i move forward two people get out of car and attack me. stupid! i knock them out and went toward car and grab driver throwing out of car. i am not stupid i know their people on way with more force. i open car door and  see denial struggling to keep his eye open. i tap on his face to wake him up, he look at me and said "i am fine sun, they give me some drug and i don't think i can stay awake for more time .let me just sleep". i just sigh it not safe to be here so i started to drove. i look at Danial from real view mirror he was unconscious. i sigh i knew this could had happen but i was not ready for this. as i was in my thought suddenly car came in front of me. i immediately applied break but my tire got puncture because of nail trap. they are Spyder gang member? i grab my gun ready to fight when two people came out of car and stand outside. wow they are handsome. since when Spyder gang member this handsome? i thought it better to get out of car then making Danial life in danger. i stand in front of them despite our height difference i stand still  making eye contact. then  one man throw his cigarette and said "hand Danial to use and we will let you go" i didn't reply, i didn't move. attacking first was never my style i waited, waited to attack them and as they did i grab his fist but before i attack he twist me and grab my hand. i tired to attack him with elbowed but he dodged it but i didn't give up i kick his foot and he let go me, sizing opportunity i punch him, aiming my gun at him but before i do anything i heard gun shot, i feel a sharp pain in my back. my gun fell from hand and i fell on ground. i loom at them with blur eye. i see them going toward my car and grabbing denial and then everything went blank. i feel like someone lift me but pain in my body is too much to think about anything.

i feel cold water splash on me. with sudden coldness i open my eye. i was tied to chair. their bandage on my bullet wound. stupid why they even bandage me if they are going to throw cold water on me. don't they know it will infect my wound. stupid. i look at them there were 7 guard, one of them guard come near me and grab my hair. it was painful but i didn't show pain. that guard asked "you dare to hurt our young master" wait ! what? what are they talking about? and who the heck is this young master. i look at him with confused face when he land a heavy punch on him. this time i wish i can speak not to tell they misunderstood but to curse at them.

the guard again asked "who is your boss? who send you" when they got no answer he kicked me right in my wound. i fell down with chair. uhh this fucking torture i know where this going, i have been in this situation during mission, first torture then death. fortunately i always escape death in this type of situation but i don't think i will be lucky today but i never believe in luck what i believe in effort. i try to untie my rope but then they pick my chair and that guard said "you are stubborn still not speaking let see how more you last" now i really wanted to curse. from where am i suppose to talk or how about you gave me your voice like that freaking mermaid. they beat me until they feel tired that main guard went out of room. i take long breath finding way to escape from this but more i try more my wound hurt . i was struggling when that guard come again with smirk and said "you are lucky boss told to end your life and send your body to Spyder gang" wait !what? Spyder gang? the fuck ! i don't want to die in misunderstanding. i look at that guard with wide eye as he raise his gun and aim at me. i brace myself maybe it time to accept death. i closed my eye and waited for shot, then i hear a voice not just one but two. one is definitely a gun shot and other maybe scream but i didn't scream, i cant then? then a sharp pain enter in my shoulder, i can feel blood running from my shoulder. i open my eye and see denial coming toward me with tear eye but that not what shock me. what shock me is him. he was looking straight at me with confused yet concerned look. but how can he be here? all this year i hide my feeling closing in closet and masking it with smile but now he is front of me my tear started to flow, it not from gun shot it from heart break. i have imagine so many scenery where i will meet him again but this not how i imagine in. heck i didn't  even wanted to see him but now he is Infront of me i didn't want him to leave.  my tear keep flowing while staring at him. the betrayal, heartbroke everything overpower my all pain. all i remember was he looking at him with lovable and longing eye? and i loose my vision. maybe this was dream because i know he will never love me. the love of my life ray, a love which is just a bitter memory and nothing else.
