I certainly hit my ink goal, thank you so much to all who supported! I didn't quite reach the other goals I set but hey, I'm fairly new to all this! Anyways, since I hit my ink goal, I am gifting you all a first look at my new comic, Mycel & the Big Dark World! I originally did these drawings in pen & ink, and trust me, I have a lot of them. I am slowly shaping them into a comic and giving Mycel her own world to explore. I hope you all enjoy this introduction to the character!

Beneath the Earth, the hearty soil in which we place our feet. Lives a network of silent voices and longing whispers.
Does the mycelium wish? In its ever growing expansion, does it continue to yearn for more? Perhaps the root of growth is the unavoidable cost of loss. When a new branch sprouts, it is assured that one must be cast aside to maintain balance.
One branch, destined to be discarded, let out one final plea to the web-like home she was birthed from. A wish to see as those above ground did. For whom would resign themself to death without a little adventure first?
It cannot be said how this spore awoke, she would not know how to question such things. In the deepest point of night, something granted her legs, hands, and a name; Mycel.
