A caustic crime lord with old debts and an alien migrant meet at the crossroads of danger and opportunity. Nothing good follows.

Maks is an Amka migrant with nothing to lose, but the American Dream isn't for everyone. He's three months into his new life, and no one will hire him. He lives on the good will of a Swathi anthropology student named Kio, but that-- like most things -- goes up in smoke. After losing everything, he stumbles into an opportunity. He can make a living. It's too bad that it's running things for the mob. But maybe blood money isn't so bad? Swallow that conscience and buckle up.
