“No, I forbid it. You will not give Nara such an order.” The leader of the ninja kingdom Azure, King Hiro, told the members of his council. “He can reason with his clan. We shall end this without bloodshed.”

Nara let out a breath he hadn’t realized he was holding. 

“King Hiro! You don’t understand!” Councilor Jairus practically shouted. “If we don’t kill them, the Flarus Clan will rebel. Do you want innocents to die in their stupid coup? We must strike first!”

King Hiro glared at his rival before turning to Nara. “I have faith in Nara.”

“I will talk to my father.” Nara promised. “I’m sure I can convince him. What he says is law for the clan.”

“Fine,” Jairus scowled. “You can try your way. But if this does not work, I will crush them all. Nothing will threaten this kingdom.”
