"Are you watching her again Viper?" Damon asked. "That's the tenth time this week". 

Without even looking up, Viper answered " I have to make sure she's ok. Life has been hard on her, if only there was something I could do to help".   

She was the most beautiful human he had ever seen. With big hazel-colored eyes, long black curly hair, and a beautiful smile, that sadly was rarely shown. Day after day he watched her, he watched as she was abused at home and overworked by her job. As bad as he wanted to help her, he knew he couldn’t without revealing his true nature to her. So, for now, he watched thinking of ways to get close to her.   

“Damon” Viper said, “I have decided to leave and go to the earth realm. I can’t keep watching her suffer and not being able to do anything about it”.

“You do know that if she finds out what you are and the counsel is informed there will be consequences and not even I can help you then” he said.

“I know and I don’t intend to let that happen. I just need to get close to her so that I can protect her.”  

After getting permission from the council to go to the human realm; he left to go find the girl he so desperately wanted to protect.
