Description
Air had one best friend. Jewel had been there all her life. Air was a lady, nobel, a mage, betrothed to the prince since she was three years old. Jewel was the daughter of a maid by an unknown father, who had value in society only because Air demanded that she did.
When Jewel went missing, Air was told that a werewolf had been seen at the edges of the city and that was probably what happened to her friend. Peasant girls were easily lured away, easy prey. Air did not believe that.
When the day of Air’s wedding arrived, the world seemed dark and lost. Until the werewolf showed up with familiar eyes and stole her away. Love can’t save you from everything... or can it?
