That sun,
“Here! Over Here!” a child bellowed.
A warming feeling like being embraced by a lover.
Laughter rung in the distance.
That breeze,
The patter of feet in the grass.
Breathing next to one another.
A happy innocence in the eyes of life.
That love,
“Let's play hide and seek!" they giggled.
Almost cruel, but still so sweet.
Numbers counted and off one went.
That feeling,
Behind trees and behind bushes they looked.
Painful yet pleasurable in one go.
Quiet they stayed as predator searched prey.
That way,
“Ha! I found you!" they laughed.
Indescribable by words such euphoria felt.
Hands held together they walked.
That face,
New lovebirds in the park.
Unforgettable and unattainable.
No care in the world as it should be.
That fire,
“Let's go get crackers and juice!” both smiled.
Burning and kept alive by feeling and lust.
