A new city, a new school, and a new job. Scratch that, she needs to find a job. What has Amb gotten herself into this time? A hatchling, lured in by the glamour of independence, the thrill of an adventure, the need to brave against the odds. Does she think she can handle it on her own? Doesn't Amb realize that death is right around the corner? That she needs to fight to survive or run. Run and scurry like a rat into hiding, waiting out the predators hunting for there prey. But all I can do is watch and wait. It is the struggle every human must face until they bless, or curse me, by there fate.
Amb is one of the many human chicks finally kicked from her parent's nest. My phrase may be cliche, but as a member of the human race, so many have taken the same steps before. Like spring before summer and winter after autumn, humans are not but cliche upon cliche upon cliche. Still, I find some enjoyment watching as those that are genuinely clumsy, foolish or even afraid as they leap into life. I wonder if Amb will provide me with some entertainment? Or will she be as countless others, merely an entity to pass?
