Elian Key always knew what to do.

Her friend Marsha threw up in the guest bathroom sink outside of the party host's bedroom. Elian wiped Marsha's face, and helped her with her hair as Marsha vomited into the toilet bowl, then she flushed the toilet.

Even in the chaos of a high school graduation after party, Elian was calm. She smoothed out her short brown hair, and her eyes zoomed in on the bedroom door once she exited the bathroom.

"Marsh, let's get you rested, okay? Stay here, I'm going to call Freddy if we can use this room."

Marsha nodded, her gaze set in the distance as she swayed back and forth.

Elian stepped away a little further from Marsha and she dialed Freddy's number. He picked up almost immediately.

"El, wassup?"

"Can I rest in the room next to the guest bathroom?"

"Yeah sure, feel free it's the guest bedroom. But don't leave a mess in there."

Elian turned to check on Marsha, but Marsha was no longer there by the bathroom. Elian took in a deep breath and calculated where Marsha would have gone. She concluded that Marsha would have entered into the bedroom half consciously.

So Elian walked over to the guest bedroom with the white door. She swung the door open and was about to enter when someone from behind pushed her inside.

Elian stumbled for moment before she tried to go back out but the door slammed in her face just as she realized what was going on.

Dumb pranksters. They loosened the door knob too and there was no way to open the door from the inside without breaking the door down.

Elian stepped back from the door when she realized there was nothing she could do, no amount of pleading or pounding against the door worked.

And that was when she heard the deep snoring, and the guy passed out on the bed.

His face was pretty.

That was the first thing Elian noticed.

His black hair looked soft and his lips were full with a reddish hue. Even crumpled on the bed Elian could tell he was handsome. The dangerous kind of handsome that could pull her into the dark.

The only thing unattractive was his obnoxiously loud snoring. Elian rubbed her temples, and she walked over to the bed.

She leaned over the boy, and she reached out to turn him over to the other side. So he would stop snoring.

Just as Elian reached down, his eyes opened. His arm shot up and grabbed her by the hand. The sheer force of his movement jerked her forward, and she toppled over his body.
