In a world of souls with light and dark halves, the Summit is the last remaining city that keeps its citizens in balance, but to what extent?
A young soul named Ven believes the adults of the Summit have become cold and controlling over the new souls. After the mysterious "death" of their adoptive family, Ven is accepted into Summit Peak school where all the lessons are brainrotting lifeless lies. Given the "Peak student" status due to their mastery over both their sides, Ven plans to infiltrate the depths of the school by themself, but the other Peak students catch onto their plans.
The students discover terrifying secrets in the literal depths of the school involving soul sacrifices and powerful constructs that threaten the state of the world.
