The young pokemon professor, Professor D. Pine, accidentally wandered through a space time distortion into a new reality. The pokemon are different here, from their typings to where they appear.

Follow Professor Pine as they log all the new pokemon they see and meet, and how they compare to what the professor thought they knew!

And of course, what could this all mean? Why was the Professor taken to this alternate reality, and how can they find their way home?

Pine's Pokedex is based on a Pokemon Platinum randomizer. I've randomized typings, movesets, move typings, and abilities (in addition to a few other things). While not a nuzlocke, I am treating this as a type of Professor Challenge, where the goal is to study as many pokemon as possible, and document them as if I was a pokemon professor.

I chose Platinum just in case I wanted to expand towards canon typings using PLA, the space-time distortions are interesting from a narrative standpoint, even if Professor Pine's interactions with Arceus are at a minimum.

But sit back and enjoy the story of Professor Pine, and their mishaps in this alternate reality!
