After giving birth to her first geode, Rose ended up poofing (luckily only Pearl and Greg were there to witness it). While Greg tended to the geode, Pearl took it upon herself to guard Rose’s gem until she reformed. After Rose reforms, Greg comes in with the geode (Nora)
