In the world of Reapers, Price is a name to behold. They're the top Reaper family, having sent the most souls to the sky since Reapers were created. Rose Price, the most recent Price, is no different; she is an outstanding Reaper who sends hundreds of thousands of souls to the Afterworld each day (maybe that's a bit of an overstatement).
The night before she is to be awarded best Reaper of the year in her division, an unknown visitor appears in her room. The person tells her that she must do what they tell her, otherwise they'll let out information that could ruin the Price Family Legacy. With no other choice, Rose is forced to do what the person wants.

Rose Price continues to do the person's bidding, doing well in keeping it hidden from everyone else until she runs into Tristan Rhine, another well known Reaper. He finds her doing something suspicious and from there on won't leave her alone. Will Tristan find out what she's hiding? And will this suspicious behavior somehow bring them together?
