A long time ago, the world bore witness to the birth and rise of individuals who possessed historically-unmatched might. Tales of their adventures and deeds were passed down onto future generations, celebrating the lives they have led. Though their bodies have long passed, their spirits were never lost. In the present, there exists an extremely small portion of the population deemed worthy of awakening the abilities of those heroic figures from a lost time. Those few who manage to awaken their slumbering ancestor's powers became known as Inheritors. The incarnation of those godlike beings.

Jenyx, a boy determined to have been born with a rare condition which prevents his body from producing mana (The source of magic), lives on in hopes of finding his purpose, despite the humiliation and abuse he faces on a daily basis. One day, a voice calls out to him from beyond his dreams.
