However, when he opened the doors, his eyes widened to see a sight that ripped his heart in two. Olivia was naked in bed with Erick, who was also nude.

Jake felt his arms drop to his side as Olivia immediately got out of bed, got dressed, and left quickly, apologising to Jake as she ran back home.

Shaking his head, resting his hands on his hips, Jake glared at Erick.

"What is going on? What was all that about, Erick?" He asked, angry

"Look, babe, I wanted some excitement, that's all. And I couldn't do it with you because you're pregnant. I'm sorry, I should've told you before I did something as stupid as this," Erick said honestly.

Jake couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"Did you fancy my sister the entire time you were with me?" He asked, sneering.

Erick only nods a little.

Jake couldn't believe it.

"You are a fucking cheater, you know that!? You think this is funny that you've left me carrying YOUR baby, and you then you go ahead and fuck my sister!? What kind of boyfriend are you!?" He shouted

"Honestly, I wish you never got pregnant! Then this wouldn't have happened! Look, I love you, Jake, but I want excitement sometimes, and you obviously can't give it to me," Erick shot.

"I'M FUCKING PREGNANT RIGHT NOW! HOW THE FUCK CAN I HAVE SEX WITH YOU AT NINE MONTHS!?" Jake screamed

"WELL, IT'S NOT MY PROBLEM, IS IT!?" Erick shouted

"IT'S YOUR FUCKING BABY!" Jake shouted back.

Erick only got out of bed, and he got dressed.

"I'm going out. I'm not going to deal with this bullshit." He sneered

"You know what? Fine. I'm leaving not only that house, but I'm leaving you. This baby can do a whole lot better without you. Fucking cheater." Jake sneered and collected all his belongings.

Erick suddenly froze

"Wait... you're serious? You're leaving?" He asked

"Yes. For the fact that you just said to me you wished I never got pregnant, fucking cut me. I remember you telling me you wanted a baby. Now, you've just cut me into pieces, and this baby doesn't need a dead-beat, badly-behaved, low-attituded cheater like you!" Jake shouted, tears in his eyes now.

Jake suddenly came across a velvet box. His heart stopped. Erick's eyes widened as Jake picked up the box and opened it. He saw a ring with Olivia's name on it. It said, engraved in the ring, Olivia + Erick.

Immediately, Jake decided enough was enough. He grabbed the box and put it away with his things.

"J-Jake," Erick stuttered.

"Shut the fuck up. You've said enough! You've done enough to hurt me! No more. We are officially over, and this baby doesn't need you. I don't need you either. If Olivia gets pregnant, I won't be surprised. I don't know how often you've done this, but I know it was more than once. I'm done, Erick. I'm over you and your stupid behaviours. I'm going and never coming back!" Jake barked.

Jake stormed out of the house, tears finally spilling down his cheeks. Sobbing quietly, Jake walked home. When he got there, he entered. Only to hear a commotion in the lounge room.

Staying out of sight and sound, Jake listened to everything. His heart stopped, eyes wide. Everyone believed Olivia's banter.

Immediately, Jake left the house. He didn't know where to go, so he walked to the one tree he knew was the safest.

It was a gorgeous protecting willow tree. Jake sat under the tree and stared at the stars with teary eyes. Getting comfortable, Jake closed his eyes, knowing this was his bed for the night.

When morning arrived, Jake saw someone carefully crouch beside him.

"Hey there, wakey wakey," the male smiles.

Jake looked and saw one of his fathers, Garnet. He looked away, remembering what he had said about the drama last night. He was distressed.

Being careful, Jake sat up.

"Go home, Garnet," he mumbled.

"Ah? Why?" Garnet asked

"I heard everything Olivia said last night. Everyone says I'm the bad guy, yet I dated Erick way before Olivia even came into the picture! Erick let Olivia in and didn't care to tell me!" Jake shouted.

Garnet tried to calm Jake down, but he wasn't having any of it.

"No. I do not want you touching me. Go home. I'm not dealing with any of you. I don't want to even be in the house, so I'm not returning to Erick. I'd rather die than go back to Erick." Jake sneered.

Jake carefully got up, and he sighed heavily.

"Goodbye, Garnet." He said bitterly and walked off.

Jake went to the hospital, knowing he could ask for advice from two doctors. When Jake entered, Doctor Harrison approached.

"Jake? Is something wrong?" He asked

"May I speak to you privately, Harrison?" Jake asked quietly.

Doctor Harrison nods, leading Jake to his and Doctor Lance's office. The two enter, and Doctor Harrison shuts the door, and the two take a seat.

"What's been happening, Jake?" Doctor Harrison asked.

Jake explained everything. Doctor Harrison was mortified.

"I see; Doctor Lance and I have been worried about you. Why don't you move in with us? If you ever need us, we're with you," he suggested.

Jake nodded, saying that would be lovely. Once Doctor Harrison and Doctor Lance finished their shifts, they moved Jake into their massive and luxurious mansion near the hospital.

Carefully sitting down on the couch in the lounge room, Jake sighs.

"How long have you got to go, Jake?" Lance asked as he entered the lounge room

"A week to go," Jake replied.

Lance nods and does some small checks.

"Perfect. The baby's in position, ready in a week's time. You just have to wait now," he smiles.

Jake nods, smiling a bit. Lance sat down beside Jake as he carefully sat up.

"By the way, Lance, I want to show you something. Erick... well, he had something planned with Olivia..." Jake said, his smile gone.

Jake got the velvet box out of his jacket pocket and opened it. Lance's eyes widen.

"Erick was going to propose to Olivia!?" He asked, shocked

'Yes, he was... as if catching Erick naked in bed with Olivia, who was also naked, wasn't enough, this cut me deep... it hurt, and Erick had admitted to me that he fancied Olivia the entire time he was with me..." Jake mumbles.

Lance shakes his head a little

"I'm sorry to hear that, Jake. You know you're in safe hands with Harrison and me. If there are any problems, let us know. We've got a good defence team. We know people in a world named Alnara. Sakura and Ren Cherry Blossom are also doctors and sometimes help us if we're a bit overloaded with patients and appointments. If your family, Olivia, especially Erick, start to annoy you, let us know. You're not alone, Jake. Just remember that," he said softly.

Jake nods

"Thank you, Lance..." he whispers.

Lance gently pulled Jake in for a hug, which Jake accepted and hugged back.

The two eventually pull away.

"Get some sleep, Jake. Tomorrow is a new day. Harrison and I will check up on you tomorrow. Sleep well. Remember, don't hesitate to wake either of us up if you need anything," Lance said softly.

Jake nods. He gets ready for bed, and Lance leaves for his master bedroom, which he shares with Harrison. Jake gets into bed and carefully lies down. He gets comfortable and closes his eyes.

However, his phone began to ring. Sighing, Jake carefully sat up and grabbed his phone. He saw Lachlan calling.

Jake and Lachlan are best friends, even when Erick and Jake are together. Jake answered the call.

Jake: "Hi, Lachlan. Not too good... I'm living with the doctors... I've been facing some drama,"

Jake: "I know... Erick was going to propose to Olivia as well. Did you know that bit?"

Jake: "Just as I suspected. I caught him out on it. Bitch is too embarrassed to know what he did. I'm not surprised."

Jake: "I'd love to, Lachlan. You always know how to cheer me up, especially since I've been pregnant and stressed out of my wits lately,"

Jake: "Thank you, will do. You too, Lachlan. Goodnight, and I'll see you tomorrow,"

Jake ended the call, but he got a text straight after. He looked and saw it was from Erick. He sneered a little and opened his messages. The message read:

Jake texted back. He said:

No. I'm going out for coffee with him tomorrow. He's a great mate, as he always has been.

Erick texted back again:

Jake texted once more, and then he turned his phone off:

Forget it, bitchface. I'm not going to get back together with you. We never worked because you always fancied my sister. And this baby doesn't need you. He doesn't need a cheater. So get lost and stop texting me.

Sighing, Jake put his phone on his bedside table, carefully laid down again, and got comfortable. He closed his eyes again.

Then Jake's phone began to ring again. Jake let out a loud, angry groan. He sat up and grabbed his phone. Erick was calling.

Jake put his phone down beside him viciously and let his phone ring. He sighed angrily as he wrapped an arm around his belly.

Knocking was heard, and the doors opened. Harrison stood there, worried.

"Is everything alright, Jake?" He asked softly.

Jake looks at Harrison, his eyes full of tears.

"I just can't cope because of one guy. He's making my life so much harder," he whispered.

Harrison approached Jake and sat beside him just as Jake's phone stopped ringing. Jake explained everything he had said to Lance and Harrison.

It shocked Harrison. Harrison could see how bad what Jake had gone through hurt him. Harrison comforted Jake

"Are you doing anything tomorrow that could get your mind off this?" He asked

"Yes, I'm going to see my best mate, Lachlan. We're going to a cafe somewhere for a drink and something sweet to eat," Jake smiles.

Harrison smiles too

"That sounds lovely. Here, I'll turn your phone off completely and in the morning, you can turn it back on. Get some sleep, Jake. Considering you're heavily pregnant, you need the rest," he said softly.

Jake nods. Harrison turns Jake's phone off so it won't disturb his sleep and puts it on the bedside table.

However, before Jake could lie down, he felt the baby move. He smiled and watched as the baby moved inside him.

Harrison grins

"Is he moving?" He asked.

Jake nods

"Quite restless tonight. But I have been too," he sighed.

Harrison carefully helped Jake to lie down and get comfortable.

"Sleep well, Jake. Tomorrow is another day, as I'm sure your best mate would've said too," he smiles.

Jake nodded, closed his eyes, and slowly fell asleep. Harrison left and went back to bed, shutting the doors as he left quietly.

When morning arrived, Jake awoke to the baby moving. He smiles and rubs his belly.

"Morning, babe," he said softly.

The baby pressed his hands up from inside Jake's stomach as a way of saying hello. Jake grins and watches as the baby moves around for a little while.

Jake got his phone and turned it on. He saw a bunch of texts and missed calls from his family and Erick. Sighing, Jake felt overwhelmed by the situation.

It was only escalating. Jake saw a text from Lachlan pop up:

Jake grins. He carefully puts his phone down and goes to have a shower, then gets dressed and ready for the day.

Once Jake was ready, he heard Lance and Lachlan's voices approaching his master bedroom. After knocking, the two opened the doors.

Lachlan approached Jake, and the two embraced in a hug.

"Are you okay? How are you hanging on?" Lachlan asked gently

"I'm fine, and I'm stressed about it all, Lachlan. While I chat with Harrison and Lance, please look at my phone," Jake said.

The two males pulled away from their embrace, and Jake and Lance left the room. Lachlan approached the table beside Jake's phone, picked it up, and turned it on.

Lachlan's eyes widen in shock at the number of texts and missed calls Jake has received from his family and Erick.

It angered Lachlan, knowing Erick was trying to score another chance despite everything he did to hurt Jake.

Lachlan sighed and put Jake's phone down just as Jake entered alone. He approached Lachlan

"It's a pretty nasty sight. Considering the fact, my family sided with Olivia after she banted about it. I was pretty disgusted about it," he mumbled.

Lachlan only pulled Jake closer and held him in his arms.

"For them to think it's okay to do this to you is quite heart-wrenching. They think they can get away with it, not thinking about how you would feel. Well, they'll soon see that doing what they're doing will only get them into more trouble," he said softly.

Jake only nods, keeping close to Lachlan. The two eventually pull away from their embrace. Jake decided to leave his phone in his master bedroom.

The two went to a cosy cafe near the beach. They sat outside in the sun. Jake watched the waves.

"This is what I needed. A peaceful time with someone I trust, and a time where I can destress," he smiles

"Indeed. I know things have been hard, Jake; that's why I wanted to take you away from it all. And I also wanted to talk to you about something while it's just us here," Lachlan said softly.

Jake nods. He looks at Lachlan.

"Do you think I'm irresponsible for leaving my phone at home?" He asked

"Not at all, Jake. I think it's a sensible choice. You know when you need a break. You needed one, and you knew you didn't need drama. I'm proud you are aware of yourself and your needs. That's very important," Lachlan smiles.

Jake couldn't help but grin. He nodded. The two ordered drinks and a piece of cake to share. While they waited for their order, they chatted.

"So, you said you wanted to talk to me about something, Lachlan?" Jake asked

"Ah, yes. I became worried, Jake. I noticed Erick was starting to act off. Before you caught him, I noticed Olivia was coming around a lot. I suspected she was there to see Crystal, but whenever I saw Crystal and asked her discreetly, she said Olivia wasn't there to see her. Then, it got me suspicious. Erick and Olivia were seeing each other behind your back. It had me thinking, Jake. Erick played you and knew you were pregnant. He knew he had you wrapped around his finger. However, you were awoken when you caught Erick and Olivia in bed. I knew something was wrong, Jake, but I didn't want to be the one to tell you in case I was wrong," Lachlan said cautiously.

Jake only nodded.
