A short story of holding onto the things you have and the people that matter lest they be taken from you forever.
Li Byrne is killed in a traffic accident, somehow he's still walking around and now accompanied by the demi-goddess Plor-na-Man. Together they set out to hunt the beast that's been terrorizing his home town, the same beast he believes bears responsibility for his untimely death.
