Many people have vices and they have become a liability to their families. Cigarette smoking is the most common vice that every man has and it has been causing a lot of problems not only for the society but also to the citizens. However, your family will be the primary victims of your vices and smoking will really have big effects on them.

Your family will likely develop respiratory diseases.

Smoking is a common vice and because of this, cigarettes are easily bought in any store. The more you smoke, the more your family will likely develop respiratory diseases which could result into a serious and life-threatening disease. When you smoke, you also give out smoke which I more harmful than what you take in and the smoke you let out will be inhaled by your family making them a secondhand smoker. They will be more susceptible to serious diseases rather than you.

Your family will be less productive.

When you smoke, your family will be less productive because they are in no mood to do anything because of all the smoke you let inside the house. They will be feeling tired as smoking has this kind of effect to people around you. Some people even get dizzy just by the smell of cigarette and with an environment full of cigarette smoke, no one would even be motivated to do anything. The smell is so unpleasant that most people cannot concentrate in what they are about to do.

Your family’s finances will be drained.

In some countries, the government has been having a lot of problems when it comes to smokers and they have been paying a lot just to cure them. Because of this, the government has decided to increase the price of cigarettes but if you still smoke even though the price is very high, then your finances will be drained almost immediately. You need to think about your family first and sort out your priorities. Never do something that could harm your family in any way.

Your family will stay away from you.

Smoking can affect your family especially you. When you smoke, you will likely to have bad breath, weak immune system, and be vulnerable to diseases. Because of this, your family will stay away from you if you exhibit one of these things and you wouldn’t want that. A family should always stay together and do things together but if you smoke, you will not be able to do it anymore.
