"Your test scores are up," His teacher remarked. Dagny had waited patiently for this. "Ahmet 85 points, Ali 90 points, Arda 70 points, Burak 65 points, Dagny 97 points..."
97 he thought. What did I get wrong? I worked day and night and even that wasn't enough for a perfect score?
"Can we look at our papers Mrs.Yeşim?" he asked.
"You may?" she said, she looked at Dagny. He had a confused expression. "Are you not satisfied with your grade? You have the highest score in the class if you would like to know."
"Can I still take a look at it?" he asked, trying not to sound annoying.
"*sigh* Come up here and take a look," she said. She liked Dagny, he was her best student yet he seemed like he always needed to be perfect."
Dagny walked up to his teacher, nervously. His footsteps were heard throughout the classroom. He could hear his "friends" whispering about him.
"He has the highest score. What does he have to worry about?"
"Overachiever!"
He grabbed his paper and started checking the questions. First question correct, second question correct... When he took a look at the final two questions, he saw that he had done the questions but he forgot to circle the answer.
"Mrs. Yeşim, as you can see here I have solved the questions but I forgot to circle them. But doesn't that count to me solving them?"
"I discussed it with the other teachers and they voted on not allowing them, for legal reasons."
Legal reasons, nothing I say will change this.
He heard the bell ring, deep into his thoughts. He excused himself and exited the class. As he was walking up the stairs he cursed himself for not paying enough attention.
He walked into an empty classroom.
They are probably at P.E.
He climbed up to a window. Looked down and thought.
Well, I had a good run.
And jumped down the window.
