Hey gang!
So, we've been going non-stop with Level Up Hero for the past four months, but to keep the quality as good and tight as possible, the team's decided to take a short 2 week hiatus. Gives us enough time to recharge, do edits, and rewrites.
We'll be back September 1, 2025 for the reunion of Sam and Thunder in the Labyrinth—it's about dang time!
See you all very soon!

It's a progression tale that seamlessly jumps between high fantasy adventures, game development hijinks, and kingdom-building shenanigans. Our protagonists, Bram, is an ill-fated prince who uses his frustrations at being magicless as fuel for strengthening his body and making great bard tunes, and Rowan, is an ancient trickster of legend who wants to burn the gods who'd betrayed her. They've both got issues, and they've found each other so they can make things right for them and their world—and us Earthers are about to get caught up in the biggest scam on two worlds...

Letting you know that I've rewritten my latest novel, The Loom of Ill Fates, so I removed the previous version and just published the new first chapter which features a new version of the protagonist in an entirely new setting before he arrives at the mountain setting of the previous version.
I hope you all enjoy it. Bram's less angry and a lot more hopeful and witty.

It's been a whole year since I last wrote here, and I gotta say, I miss all of you!
First, let me apologize for the delay in posting new Level Up Hero chapters... I went through a troubling period and had a hard time writing for a while...adding the failure of bringing an LUH comic to life — particularly because Tapas put the project on hold in early 2023 — and it became difficult for me to return and continue the story... I'm back now though, renewed and refreshed and ready to write again... and that means Level Up Hero is coming back too!
Yep, this October 2024, we will be resuming Volume 3: Underworld! With edited versions of the volume 3 chapters already out. I'll update you as I begin posting for LUH again.

In a nutshell, this is Game of Thrones meets Ready Player One and the Office all wrapped up in one neatly—and if I can toot my own horn here—well-written package! Yep, it's as crazy as it sounds!

First, a very HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all!!!
Apologies for the unplanned monthly-long hiatus last December 2022. This was mostly due to a surprise trip out of the country during the holidays where I decided just to take a break from the pen and paper to really spend time with my family. That's over now and I'm back in front of the screen churning out the next chapters of Sam and the gang's adventure in the underworld, while also working on a new project directly connected to Level Up Hero. XD
Look forward to it and thanks for continuing to support the novel!

I can't really say anything yet, but let's just say the 'coming soon' news is the kind that makes me want to jump up and down in excitement and then yell "It's going to be EPIC~~C!" at the top of my lungs from the rooftop of the New Atlantis State Building. (wink, wink)

Now, this late July, I'm launching my new novel — Adventure Academy — a fantasy tale of budding adventurers learning the tricks of the trade as they explore the many bombastic worlds of the realmsverse! Please look forward to it!

We're nearing the end of Level Up Hero, Volume 2: Rising! Just one more chapter to go! Are you guys excited? I am!
Level Up Hero, Volume 3: Underworld is coming, and if the title is any indicator then it's going to be a wilder ride than the crew of the Argonaut VII have had so far!
To celebrate vol 3's impending launch, we'll be releasing a set of sudechapters next week featuring everyone's favorite cowled hero: Crow-Man! The side chapters will tie into Underworld too!
Lastly, to my Iron Blood Arcanist and Alpha and the Rose readers, sorry for the delays -- in the midst of a rewrite for those two novels, but my new novel, Adventure Academy will be out soon here on Tapas! Look forward to it.
Let me leave you all with a teaser of things to come for Level Up Hero.
