Rouge rested his arm against the edge of the low wall, armed with nothing but his old toy. He kissed the handle of his sniper and searched for his target using the Nightforce NXS scope. Then he saw the star of the night, a black-haired man dressed in a white cocktail suit. He held a glass of white wine, smiling as he shook hands with the other guests of the extravagant, glittering cruise party. He looked better than the reference picture his organization gave him.

Rouge bit his lips. "Damn," he uttered. The man is a nice piece of meat. But the job's got to be done.

Rouge aimed for the man's temple, slowly adjusting his delicate steer. He slowly exhaled, relaxing his grip. It was all it took for him to take a life. Everything was in place, he just needed to pull the trigger. Just when he was about to release the clutch, shoot a bullet through the man's brain and get it over with, his heart skipped dropped.

Raul was staring at him, meters away from the ground. But what made Rouge's hair standing on the end was that the man's eyes were glowing bright red.
