Prince Landon is the next successor to the crown and everyone, specially the parliament, is feeling concern on his ability to rule.
His father has ended a war that has been going on between humans and vampires, but after he fell into a terrible sickness people started blaming the vampires of our fear resulting in burning and killing every single vampire in the kingdom.
Landon feels uneasy and takes a walk in the woods where he finds a young woman who he discovers might be the last vampire alive. She reveals to him that there are people on the inside who are after his power and probably after his head.
