A boy named Divyansh walked into his home, where his father was sitting on the couch with his mother. He announced that he was heading to his martial arts classes and left the house with determination. As the door closed behind him, his parents began a heated argument, their voices growing louder and more intense with each passing moment.
Divyansh strolled down the road, his thoughts focused on the upcoming class. He paused in front of a house and called out to his friend Jayant. Jayant emerged from the house, and his parents cast curious glances at Divyansh. The two friends then set off together, joined by Riva on their way. When they reached the martial arts classes, they were greeted by Riya, who called out to Jayant from behind. The group stopped, and Riya joined them. As they entered the training facility, they were met with a striking sight—the walls of the room were painted a vivid shade of red.
A man appeared at the center of the room and addressed the new students, "Hello everyone, this marks the beginning of a new journey with me. We have seven students joining this batch. Let me make one thing clear before we begin—this is not a typical martial arts class. Here, I will be teaching you skills that go beyond conventional martial arts. I understand that you all are here with the aim of becoming powerful. I have no issue with that; you are free to use your skills however you see fit. However, there are some rules you must follow:
1. Within these walls, you are all competitors.
2. You must give your best effort at all times.
3. Do not share the training methods taught here outside these walls.
4. Everyone is equal; you will be competing against both males and females in the future."
Meanwhile, inside Divyansh's home, his parents continued their argument, their voices echoing through the house. Divyansh's father eventually left, calling a friend to pick him up.
As the martial arts class ended, the friends emerged from the building. Jayant turned to Divyansh and asked how he had discovered this place. Divyansh explained that he had conducted some research on the classes and found out about it. He added that no one had ever completed the course here, but the facility was known for producing some of the greatest fighters. Riya then asked, "If you know that the training here is extremely tough, why did you insist that we join too?" Divyansh responded, "I wanted my friends to be the strongest. If any of you feel like quitting, you can leave. Until then, make the most of it here."
As Divyansh approached his house, he noticed his uncle's car parked nearby. He ran over to the car and said, "Thanks for recommending this place to me. I had a great time on my first day here." His uncle replied, "I knew you would enjoy it. I just hope you don't quit like I did." Divyansh assured him, "Of course not." With that, his father arrived, got into the car, and they drove away. Divyansh went inside his house, and as he entered, something unexpectedly dropped onto his face. He looked up, startled, and hurried towards his mom's room.
One hour earlier:
The argument between his parents had escalated dramatically. His father was about to slap his mother when their dog, Diggo, bit his father's leg in an attempt to protect her. Enraged, his father kicked Diggo towards the door, pulled out his pistol, and fired a shot. Afterward, he went outside and called his friend for a ride.
Divyansh rushed to his mom's room, where he found her sitting on the bed, visibly distressed. He asked about the blood on the wall, and his mother replied, "It's Diggo's." Heartbroken, Divyansh ran downstairs, tears streaming down his face, but he couldn't find Diggo's body. Desperate, he asked his mother where it was, and she told him it was "inside your uncle's car."
As his uncle's car stopped at a location, Divyansh's father got out and tossed Diggo's lifeless body into the sea. Divyansh, still in shock, said to his mother, "Why does he always do this? He knows how much I loved Diggo, yet he still did this." His mother, tears in her eyes, responded, "Why don’t you ever confront him directly? Both of you have made my life unbearable." Divyansh, overwhelmed, left his mother and retreated to his own room, leaving her to cry alone in hers.
**AT JAYANT'S HOME**
Upon arriving home, Jayant found his parents waiting for him with concerned expressions. He quietly sat down next to them, and his father asked why he hadn't mentioned that Divyansh would be joining them. Jayant replied, "I didn't think it mattered. Why do you have a problem with Divyansh? You always tell me to stay away from him."
His father explained, "I think you should stay away from him. I have a problem with Divyansh’s father because, once, when I asked him for help, he not only refused but also insulted me in front of his so-called friends. That’s why I want you to keep your distance from him."
Jayant responded, "What fault does Divyansh have in this? He doesn’t even know about what happened, and he also dislikes his father. And why did you ask his father for help in the first place? Don’t you know what kind of person he is?" His father retorted, "I don’t care about any of that. You just shouldn’t be associating with Divyansh anymore."
Jayant went to his room, and as he was about to settle in, he received a call from Divyansh. He answered the phone.
Divyansh: "How are you?"
Jayant: "Not great."
Divyansh: "Neither am I. Let’s meet in 10 minutes."
The call ended.
They met near the beach, where Jayant expressed that he was feeling a mix of energy and anger. Divyansh, determined, asked, "Shall we begin?"
Without hesitation, Divyansh threw a punch at Jayant's face, exclaiming, "My father killed my dog." Jayant, unfazed, replied, "That punch was weak. Now it’s my turn," and threw a punch back. Divyansh dodged swiftly, saying, "Too slow." He then landed a punch, declaring, "My life is falling apart, buddy," and continued with a series of powerful blows. Jayant stepped back, noting, "Ooh, it's getting intense now." He attempted an attack from the right but couldn’t break through Divyansh's defense. Frustrated, Jayant kicked at Divyansh’s arms, saying, "Your father insulted my father." Divyansh fell to the ground, but Jayant pressed on, saying, "We need to teach your father a lesson."
In a fit of rage, Divyansh pushed Jayant away and began throwing wild punches, though he couldn’t land a single hit. Jayant advised him to focus, reminding him that their teacher had warned against losing control in anger, as it could be detrimental. However, Divyansh was too consumed by his rage to listen, and he kept attacking. Jayant punched him in the nose, causing Divyansh to start bleeding, and he finally ceased his assault.
Jayant sat beside Divyansh and said, "You need to concentrate on your leg movements. When you punch so hard, your legs tend to stay still." Divyansh responded, "I’m aware of that. Everyone keeps saying I can’t control my anger. We’ll see if our new tutor can help me with this." Jayant agreed, "Yes, we should ask him tomorrow." Divyansh then apologized for his father’s actions, and Jayant reassured him, "No worries, buddy. But why do you get so angry whenever it involves your father?" Divyansh replied, "I don’t even know why I react this way when it comes to my father. I hate him, but whenever someone says something bad about him, it triggers my rage."
Jayant commented, "Your rage can be your greatest strength, but you struggle to control it. How does it feel fighting against your rage-fueled self?" Divyansh asked him how it felt to fight someone in that state. Jayant replied, "It feels like battling a puppet that has lost its master." Divyansh laughed and said, "One day, I’ll master that puppet." He then asked what the two girls were doing. Jayant replied, "They must be relaxing together." Divyansh then inquired about Jayant’s father, mentioning that everyone in town said he was very powerful and a member of the Super Eight organization. This group supposedly controls an island where the world's most formidable fighters are stationed, and no one knows what happens there. Divyansh, raising his voice, exclaimed, "I don’t know what my father does!"
Jayant said, "Okay, let it be. Let’s head to the medical store; we should put bandages on your nose." Divyansh replied, "No, it’s fine. I’ll just wash it. My father will get angry if he sees a bandage. Let’s go home."
When Divyansh entered his house, he saw his father sitting calmly. He went straight to his room, but his father called him downstairs. Divyansh approached quietly and stood near his father. His father asked about the injury on his nose, and Div
yansh explained that it happened while practicing. His father responded, "Be careful next time. Tell your tutor to visit me in two days." Divyansh replied, "Okay, I’ll inform him," and then went back to his room."
