3 Months Later
Day 94 Zenatori's Dorm: 10:23 am
Zenatori lays motionless on his bed of his dorm. He sits up out of his bed slightly stretching a bit then gets out of bed. His bare foot touches against the schools cold floor and he thinks to himself,
"3 months since the first exam and nothing hasn't happened yet. I've been growing closer with Yachi and Akari, and it seems Suda Katashi has made amends. The entire school won't stop calling me the strongest first year, but it has died down a little. What an unfortunate series of events."
Zenatori grabs a book from a small book shelf with only two books in it, he looks through the titles.
"What it takes to be a Syneji Artist. Official Guide."
"Tokyo Regiment Academy Handbook."
Zenatori says internally,
"How interesting, I should check the library."
He pulls up the small tablet he has then checks the live power rankings for First-Years.

"How interesting, I probably will never surpass Akari. She was born talented." He thought.
Zenatori slips his clothes on, then walks out the door. Zenatori walks throughout the hallway and slips his hands in the pockets of his pants. Suddenly he's confronted by Akikyo Yachi.
"You must think you're real mysterious don't you, Sakatoro-kun."
Zenatori says sternly,
"Who gave you permission to use my first name."
Yachi lightly glares,
"Oh, do you mind?"
Zenatori thinks,
"Man, she's cute!"
He then says,
"I don't particularly care."
Yachi says beatifically,
"Well that settles it! Well, where are you off too."
"To the library."
Yachi says,
"Would you care if I joined, Sakatoro-kun."
Zenatori says trying to keep composure,
"Not really."
"Yay let's go!"
Yachi and Zenatori then walk into the library that's a fairly modest size, with several bookshelf's of all genres. Zenatori then thinks,
"Quite the size for a school library, this is also my first time going to this schools library. I wonder if you could consider this a date, would this classify as a date? I mean all I'm really doing is walking with a girl to the library, wait. Key word 'with.' This means this is totally a date right? But what's realistically the chance I take a girl on a date analyzing my entire life."
Suddenly Zenatori's thoughts are interrupted by Yachi saying,
"I guess you could call this a date, ha!"
Zenatori's mind races,
"Wait, hold up, there's no way. WHAT DOES SHE MEAN BY THAT?"
Zenatori and Yachi walk over to a shelf and start checking out the books. Yachi says,
"I didn't know you liked non fiction books Sakatoro-kun."
"Heh, I'm a bit to mature for some fictional books."
Zenatori instantly thinks,
"That's what I want her to think, as soon as she leaves I'm racing to the manga section."
Suddenly Tsuyo Hayoku shows up. He says,
"Zenatori, I need your group to infiltrate a building, I'll drive you there. We've heard mass cases of, Botch Bats and Muddle Rats."
Zenatori thinks to himself,
"Botch bats and Muddle rats? According to Mashaka they are both extremely weak automorphs, and pretty much an oversized rat and bat. This could also raise my ranking."
Zenatori says,
"Trust me I'm speaking for my whole group when I say that we want to. But why us?"
Hayoku takes a sip of his coffee then says,
"Well, you were just the first people a saw, and the only C-Divisions in your class."
Hayoku walks up to Zenatori and whispers,
"On another note how's the date?"
Zenatori glares blushing
"Like hell this is a date!"
Sugamo District Tokyo: 11:20 am
Koubaski brings the small limo to a halt and says,
"We're here."
Naoko Akari, Sakatoro Zenatori, and Akikyo Yachi leave the vehicle. Hayoku says,
"The most you'll see is a B-Grades and if not I'll be watching from the sidelines if worst comes worst. Good luck regiments."
The group walk into the building instantly gassed by a putrid smell. Akari says,
"I think its better we split up, Zenatori go with Yachi. I can hold my own against some C-Grades."
The group splits up and Zenatori walks with Yachi.
Yachi strikes a conversation,
"It smells horrible in here doesn't it Sakatoro-kun."
"Yea."
"I'm sure you can protect me Sakatoro-kun."
"I will."
Zenatori thinks,
"Damn my lack of social skills."
Suddenly they see a Hash morph.
Hash morphs are a type of automorph that feeds on nearly anything to survive. They are around the size of a base ball, and travel sliding across the ground. They are also extremely weak.
Mother Hash Morphs are much bigger and around the size of a teen age boy, but mostly can't fight in any type of way. The children of it bring the Mother the food to continue reproducing. Mother hash's can make 2 children a day.
Zenatori looks at it and says to Yachi,
"You think if we follow it, it will lead us to the mother?"
Yachi says,
"It's worth a shot."
They follow it for a few minutes and are then lead into a closed door and the smell becomes even stronger. Zenatori says,
"Yea the mother is here."
Zenatori kicks the door down with one strike and the mother lays there and can only send quiet shrieks as its way of language.
Zenatori walks toward it and says,
"Syneji I Bow: Subdue."
Suddenly the monstery blob is quickly exorcised and disintegrates.
Yachi says,
"That was pretty easy huh?"
"Yea I guess."
Suddenly a loud crash is heard and they look back from where they can from. Yachi shrieks,
"WE'RE GONNA DIE."
Zenatori yells over her,
"CALM DOWN. Let's check it out."
They then walk over to the commotion in a completely different room. The room is quite large. What they see feeding on a human corpse is a large humanoid grotesque figure. It has a visible large muscular frame with dark eyes. The A-Grade Berserker automorph.
Zenatori says in his mind,
"Never since I was a kid have I felt such an immense sense of fear."
