S.O.S is a sea faring action/adventure story, set in a flooded post-apocalyptic and strangely altered world.
The story follows four central characters, as they navigate through this skewed reality, where the presence of old magic and the fantastic, are now facts of life and All of the great continents have been reduced to a scattering of islands.
What can happen, is of yet unknown. But if it's up to us, practically anything.
At any rate, you have Jacob, a man who was born to an Amish community. For troubling reasons, Jacob flees the village at the age of 16. He would go on to play the part of a soldier at war, a a three time US Army boxing champ, and later, a reckless hired gun for an Irish crime family. But his ultimate fate, would be to play the part of a hero in this tale.
And then there's Taina. A thirty something Peurto Rican woman. Her checkered past might even rival Jacobs. But life in the new world would place her in the role of care giver, to an orphaned boy named Eli.
Eli is a typical fun loving, quixotic, young man. But there's something peculiar about him. A bizarre secret that I, unfortunately, can't tell you just yet.
And finally, a man known only as The Professor. I wont say much about this enigmatic English dude, but I will mention his mysterious Swiss Army knife, which seems, impossibly, to produce a tool for nearly any situation.
These characters, as is customary in tales like this, will find themselves, reluctantly, at the epicenter of a quest to save everything in all of creation. And because he's English, he's probably quite witty... we hope anyway.
