30 Years after a devastating civil war in the distant nation of Middlemaenland, Sjhinmaen Haans, a young man, is trying to follow what he's convinced to be his purpose, being a soldier. Haans Sjhinmaen, best described as a big, late teens, near 2M tall dude, standing on the street corner with 2 bags of groceries for his only burden. He can't do much else than follow orders without standing out in a bad way. This means he is pretty much useless, which is a very painful position for a young man like Haans. He's become resentful about many things around him, not least himself, but still struggle towards a faint, flickering light in the distance. Is it really the case that he is a defect of society or will his time finally come? Will he be able to prove himself, gain some admiration and stand tall, or will he simply crumble and die?
As the nation braces for another conflict, the scorching fires will burn away all falsehood and the truth will reveal itself, no matter how terrible.
