It's the 1920s in America. Hollywood is experiencing it's golden age, while Chicago struggles with organized crime - the two worlds suddenly combine when a famous movie actress Lizzie Sage is kidnapped for ransom at her own wedding. But why was her well trusted and beloved assistant the one who pointed the gun at her? Or more importantly, how will she escape him and return home unharmed if past mistakes keep catching up to them?
