Amy, in squid form, jumped down a manhole in the worn-out docks of Inkopolis. After a long shift that afternoon, she was happy to return to the Square. Emerging in Grizzco's small Headquarters located in Inkopolis Square, the tired inkling could finally relax, or so she thought. The small HQ smelling of odd spices and fish, was rather dark and cluttered, and filled with all sorts of junk that was covered in dust, and anything to hold power eggs. The neon signs cast an eerie look in the old building. The familiar bear statue sat on top of it's cooler, as usual, and Amy continued to take off her Grizzco gear. "Argh, it's sure a pain to fit all of this over your normal gear! Sticky rubber..." She muttered to herself. It must have been a bad shift to get this positive inkling to complain like this.
A crackling noise came from the bear statue. "Nice work out there, kid. You're a true profreshional." Wheezed the statue. "Thanks, Mr. Grizz!" Amy replied. The statue, now known as Mr. Grizz grunted, "I know it was a tough one, but it got me thinkin'... I could use your help with some guardin', those golden eggs have gone missin' the last couple of pickups. The truck drivers are baffled." Amy paused. Grizzco was a rather shady business that many superstitious cephalopods avoided. "All ya need to do is wait by Moray Towers for my truck, and make sure nobody takes any eggs, ok? You will help the truck driver load 'em as well. Tonight at... let's see... 7pm." The offer was intriguing, and Amy knew Grizzco was generous in rewards. "What do I get out of it?" She inquired. Mr. Grizz chuckled. "Something... special."
"I'll do it." Amy replied confidently. "See you later." With a renewed energy, Amy bounced out of the Grizzco Headquarters, wondering about this "special" reward. "Is it some fancy gear? Grizzco gives out gear all of the time. A Grizzco weapon? to keep? Maybe some kind of power egg. Or a neon sign, like the million around Grizzco..." The inkling wondered. She put on her noise cancelers, and headed to the lobby to play some Turf War battles until it closed for the day.
