The humans were like newborn babies, curious of everything and had hearts of purity where none wished any of their kinds to be hurt. They hunted, they gathered, they catered animals, they created fire. Soon, they started to be more intelligent and offered many more kind things to themselves and the world.

Melanie and Hal took quite a liking in them.

But little did the now newly dubbed Goddess and God known, the creature that had human as its succession was not all gone. It lived still, alone and afraid, in the shadow, in solitude. And now it grew jealous of how tightly bonded the human and their creators were, so it set out to destroy all that was made.

It was an easy task, really, to turn a human with a heart so pure and naive into one of him, bloodthirsty, selfish and hateful.

With the two Gods' eyes turned blinded and so did the world around them.

Slowly and gently, in a human's heart, the seed of corruption had been sowed.
