Description
Shadows of Desperation is a short story about a farmer Jimoh. After losing his wife to cancer and his daughter passing tragically Jimoh falls into a really dark place. His world is in shambles, just when he thinks it can't get any worse he uncovers the dealings of a notorious kidnapping ring responsible for quite a number of missing women and children in the town.
Think "The Prisoner" movie meets "Lost girls" but darker.
Content warnings: violence, death, swearing, sexual themes. Not recommended for readers under 13 (18+) only.
