June and Mike where the best friends since kindergarten. Every day they would go visit their house and play at the local playground. Their favorite thing to do is act like as if they were in the middle of a battle in space and that they have to save an intergalactic princess from an ugly smelly alien. June was born on the first of June, a coincidence isn't it? He is now 10 years old and 3 months older then Mike. They met in kindergarten at the break time and back then Mike was a loud kid. He was shouting an screaming while making dinosaur noises and running around. June just couldn't handle the noise, ran to him and made Mike trip. The lady who was watching over saw and started walking towards the two. June had always been a more mature kid so what he did was help Mike standing back up and holding a hand in front of him to try and make peace. Mike looked at June his hand and shook it with a bright smile. The lady got a happy smile on her face when she knew that everything was all right and that they weren't going to fight. Since that moment they always play together. They celebrated every birthday and every other special day. But before they even could celebrate June his eleventh birthday, he had to move. His dad got a job offer that paid really well and so they finally could pay their bills on time. Before they left he ran away from home to a place where only Mike and he comes. His parents looked everywhere but couldn't find him. Mike ran towards their secret place and hoped he would find June. And there he was, crying. Mike ran to him and gave him a hug. June stopped his crying and told Mike that he would miss him and that he won't be able to have fun anymore. Mike ensured him that when they all meet again that they'll have fun. "Pinky promise?" June asked. "Pinky promise." Mike confirmed. They said goodbye and hoped that there would be a moment when they'll meet again.
