Silver has spent his entire life training to be the perfect werewolf hunter, raised by his clan to eliminate the beasts that terrorize the land. Following his twentieth birthday, he's given his first solo mission: to scout out a nearby werewolf pack. But things go awry when he's ambushed by brutal rogue wolves. Just as he accepts his fate, a mysterious werewolf intervenes and saves him.
Kenin, a young werewolf struggling with the looming responsibilities of becoming the pack's alpha, was simply out on patrol to clear his mind. He never expected to find a human hunter under attack, and even less that he'd risk his own life to save him. But fate has a strange sense of timing, and soon both men find themselves trapped in a cave, injured and forced to confront the undeniable connection between them.
As they heal, the pull between Silver and Kenin grows stronger, and they begin to question everything they've ever known. Can a werewolf and a hunter really be fated for each other? Surely their relationship is a death sentence. After all silver is lethal to werewolves.
