Thank you for reading! I hope I was able to portray the melancholic escapism of maladaptive daydreaming. Sometimes we forget children’s imaginations aren’t all rainbows, cupcakes, and butterflies, because those are the only parts we chose to remember when we grew up. I wish I had more time to work on the backgrounds, but it is what it is.
I used a lot of symbolism in this. I wonder if any are noticeable?
Harabi and Dali have spent their entire childhood in a peculiar hospital which for some reason have maximum security. They’re only escape is their imagination, but Harabi wants more than that. He wishes for freedom not just for him, but a chance to give Dali a normal life.
