It was a beautiful day on the island of Skullcap, the sky a bright blue barely any clouds in the sky, birds flying over head, the sea reflecting the bright blue sky, making it look like a mirror. The Caps people were just going through their regular daily lives, no one bothered or tense. It was just a peaceful time that day.

Beverley, an adventurous girl, was always up to a challenge, something that might cause harm or chaos to others. Very different from her friend, Dane, someone who is the complete opposite of her, he always helped out around the town and rarely caused any trouble or harm. Maybe it's because he was the son of the head leader of the island, Beverley and Dane were very different.

Beverley- Hey Dane! I don't know... Maybe we could sneak into the forest, just for a few minutes, see if we can find anything about that monster!

Beverley always thought about the dumb adventures she could do since the island was somewhat small, everything always seemed pretty much the same.

Dane- You dumbie! *Dane slaps Beverley behind the head* We'll be dead in a matter of minutes, and someone will notice were not at work, it starts pretty soon.

Beverley- Stop being such a scaredy cat Dane! I'll bring a camera and our bikes, we'll be out of there in the matter of minutes. Piece of cake! 

Dane- hm... Fine! But if you die it's not my fault if you die while were in there.

They both laughed.

Beverley- HA! In your dreams, your probably the one who is gonna die of anxiety. *She playfully punched him*

In reality Dane didn't want to go in there at all, he didn't like the thinking about dying, leaving behind his town and his friends, yes he did love Beverley to pieces but, he just wanted to protect her even if he wasn't the strongest, he just wanted the best for people. And yet he still went into the forest with Beverley.

Beverley- Ok, let's leave our bikes here and lets not get to far from them.

???- ...Zpvs Efbe.

Beverley- Did you hear something? Sounded like something breaking.

Dane- No, jeez Beverley your always trying to freak me out! Seriously stop were in a serious situation that you put us in. You know what i'm done following you and your dumb adventures. I'm going back home, call me if your still alive. 

Dane got up on his bike and left, he never once acted up like this to Beverley, Beverley just stood there in shock, she was proud of him and upset.

Beverley- I... I wasn't trying to upset you, I swear their is something hear and I will prove it!

She continued on through the forest. Taking pictures of things that she thought could be evidence to disappearances, the monster, or anything she thought was cool she'd pick up. 

???- ij uifsf... Beverley....

The voice seemed to echo through the forest

Beverley- Dane if this is you it isn't funny.

???- tsk...tsk...tsk tjmmz Beverley... j'n kvtu ifsf gps zpv.

Beverley knew something was not right. Like at all, she started sprinting to her bike as fast she could, as soon as she got to it she pedalled as fast as she could. Her was breathe shaky, her bike wheels squeeked as she rode along the dark green grass.

As soon as she got out of the forest she flew off her bike dropping all the stuff she had grabbed, echoes of that voice she heard from before stayed in her mind. Haunting her.
