The story starts with a girl named Soul. She has peach skin and wears a purple sweater. She has long blonde hair and blue jeans. She lacks any foot wear and is also scratched up and dirty. She is sleeping in The Hidden Orphanage, an orphanage that is made out of old oak wood. All the window are cracked and boarded up with various torn up curtains.

Soul has a dream that she is running in a hallway but then gets dragged down deep below the ground by a big arm. Waking up from a nightmare, the girl leaves the children's room, which served as a prison cell for children. Along the way, she follows a boy with a flashlight, who is also trying to escape from The Hidden Orphanage, originally a normal happy orphanage, now a twisted dark center of children's nightmares. Thanks to him, Soul leaves the Prison and enters the hallways. While following the boy, she sees a large lanky hand grab the boy and yank him away, forcing him to leave the flashlight behind. The boy is heard screaming and gets ripped apart

Soul hears and sees a pool of blood fall from the hallway's floor. Soul sneaks up and picks up the flashlight. She walks down the hall and catches a glimpse of "Something" moving in a door. When Soul approaches, the door gets slammed on her face.

Soul was about nervously knock, but another door down the hall opens up for her to enter. She walks inside to find a room full of old confiscated toys, most of them being dolls, most of which are creepy to look at. Soul stumbles around, hearing the creeks and the crawls of the wooden floor. The scratching and scramble of mice and rats. The dolls feel like they are watching her move around. Soul feels like she's losing herself. The dolls even start to slightly move across the floor and appear at random corners of the room. She lets out a slight yelp at the flash of a thunder storm. She stumbles back into a vent and falls down a floor.

She falls and smashes her head on the other side and falls out inside a room full of boxes and tables. She gets up and breifly catches a glimpse of the same claw she saw from earlier drag its way into a hallway. She gets up slightly injured. When she starts to walk, she finds her ankle is slightly twisted and falls to the floor and struggles to move. She then hears a voice in her head, not wanting her to die just yet. The voice sounds like a demonic shadow, while also sounding like a twisted child. The voice's tone sounds rather angry and annoyed by Soul's weakness

• "You can't die now. You need to heal. GET UP!!!"

Soul is striked with a little bit of hearing pain from the "GET UP!!!" line. She then looks up to see a little girl starring down at her. She is torn up and covered in her own blood. She gives a piece of bread towards Soul. Soul takes it and eats it. While this happens, a black shadowy figure of a child appears behind Soul watching her eat. The Little Girl is snatched up by the monstrous claw from earlier. She is heard screaming in pain as she is ripped and consumed. The voice comes back.

• "SHE IS NEAR!!! GET UP!!!"

Soul quickly hides behind a few boxes by crawling behind. The monster comes in and Soul can barely get a glimpse, only getting another shot of the same claw. The claw is dark peach colored with massive black claws. The claw scraps the floor as the monster leaves. Soul takes a moment to rest for a bit before continuing her journey.
