Dreaming Alone

I had a dream

A long time ago

I’ve written it down

Now it’s ready to show

Once the universe was forgotten

In the dark empty void of space

Until the planets were created

Out of rocks, debris and waste

Only one thing existed:

Nature’s natural scene

Now the only question I need to ask is,

“Where has this beauty been?”

I dream and dream and wander where

As I stare down upon the lakes

It’s a revolution

There’s no pollution!

This planet has no mistakes

But now I also dream ‘bout what

This planet would be like as a home

Free from anger, sadness and urges to fight

In my own secure safety dome

Come help me
