The Sun is praised,
for her warmth on a winter day,
for the lives she has sustained.
A yellow crystal shinny in the summer sky,
covering the Earth in an invisible blanket.
The Sun is cursed,
for the blazing destruction she brought,
for the people's ragged voices calling out.
A fiery ball in the dark bright sky,
cracking the Earth 'til her blood drained dry.
And the Moon is always praised.
The Moon is praised,
for her elegant shining light,
for her guidance in the endless darkness.
A traveler's lantern in the starless sky,
comforting the children in their sleepless nights.
The Moon is praised,
for her graceful changing patterns,
for her gravity pulling beauty.
A star made to be admired in the night sky,
offering the light but never the warmth.
