Lian Macey, nineteen years old, and realized Autistic, was born and raised in the bustling cityscape of Perth, Western Australia. Despite being studious, hard-working and dedicated, Lian is finding the pathway to becoming a surgeon grating on him. So one night, he escapes to relieve some stress, as he and his best friend, Ida, go to see the rock group "Obnoxious Queers" perform at a local bar.
Enter Pas, the fun loving and laid back guitarist of the group who came to Australia in order to escape the confines of his previous life. After the show, the two meet and, while stumbling to grasp each other at first, soon form a strong bond and perhaps even fall in love. But with exams steadily approaching, an overbearing father and Pas' apathy toward seemingly everything in life, Lian might just snap before anything can become of it.
