To save her own world, Ashlin enters a portal to a world past, a world of survival run by powerful clans of women called amazons. After a rocky start to her arrival, Ashlin is rescued by an amazon captain named Tallis, a strong but gruff woman who doesn't trust easily.

Forced to remain under her rescuers wing, much to Tallis's dismay, Ashlin struggles to become one of the amazons as she faces a world so different from her own. With Tallis by her side, the queen at her back and a possible love amongst her new sisters, can she survive this harsh world and make it back home with the answers she needs?

By the end of it all, will she even want to go back?
