Treika is a world where advanced technology proliferates every aspect of life, from domestic homes to industrial complexes. In the Second Epoch, the use of programs in everyday tasks became increasingly popular, easing the burden of labor off humans so that people could focus on pursuits related to their passions.
Page, Script, and Muse—three programs assigned to teach supplemental classes at Trinity High School—long to find independence and autonomy outside their designated stations. When a friend of theirs goes missing, a door opens into a new world. As they venture further from the roles they’re meant to play, their mundane lives take a turn. They learn quickly that there is a price to pay for the luxury of choice.
