In EDVAC a society secluded from the rest of the world, is a city which possesses outstanding technological infrastructure, with its average building being skyscrapers that their tops are unseen as these tops are constantly surrounded by a faint grey fug that rarely lifted. The city is well decorated, with Neon lights and star lights that mark the streets and hallways. 

EDVAC is in turmoil as mutants-humans with abilities that defile nature-are on the rampage causing unrest among the people. The government are constantly trying to keep the violence under wraps but the situation is worse than anything they have known. 

REX strikes again, this time the government are able to lay their hand on some substance left behind by the mutant. Rex is no ordinary mutant, not only does he possess multiply abilities, his powers are rather highly destructive and cannot be contained. Either way the government have not stopped trying. 

In the depth of the situation, the Council of Government decided to call on a familiar weapon Scarlett Adair Marie to handle the case. Scarlett- an honorary Criminologist and detective, she is well known for her abilities to solve difficult cases that seem rather impossible, she works alone and takes no hid to other opinions. Scarlett on multiple occasions has been called upon by the Council to help solve difficult cases and has always had a 100% success rate and this time should not be any different.

At the top of a skyscraper is a pair of heels, revealing an average heighted Scarlett staring down at the city below her, the wind gracing her long Ombre white hair.

She is deep in thoughts, dreading the fate that befalls her city, in her hand is file containing confidential information_ Scarlett takes one look at the file and sighs, she has gone through the files, the council of government have reached out to her in a plea to solve the REX case. She opens the file again revealing details about the mutant known as REX due to his constantly signing on scenes of his crimes. Looking further at the dossier, there are no visible drawings or pictures of REX, a few pictures of a male silhouette are seen revealing REX to pose as a very huge dominant figure.

She turned the page, reading the dossier in detail, though every word felt like a confirmation of what she already knew. Explosions, deaths, disappearances. Each incident worse than the last. But it was the Government Council’s plea that had landed this file in her hands now. Desperate times called for desperate measures, and Scarlett was known for getting results, no matter the odds.

Still, Scarlett wasn’t sure how she felt about being the Council’s last resort.

She closed the file and slid it into her coat pocket. Rain began to fall heavily, as if the city itself was pressing down on her shoulders, trying to drown her in the weight of what lay ahead. But Scarlett wasn’t one to be deterred. She had made a career of facing darkness and dragging it into the light. This case wouldn’t be any different. It couldn’t be.

After looking at the file for a few more minutes, Scarlett hops off the ledge of building and walking off feeling a mix of determination and a hint of fear that overwhelms her.
