A world divided between humans, elves and dwarves.
A world with the hero of justice and the ultimate evil.
We’ve all seen that occur.
But what if, swords and magic wasn’t all that was there to it?
What if, along with humans, elves and dwarves there existed a new race? Where the beasts that had been hunted for centuries untold had evolved to form nations of their own?
What if, instead of the world being painted in black and white, it was greyscale? Where no one is truly evil, neither is anyone truly holy.
The heroes of justice that exist within fables, are but a myth.
No one is selfless enough for that, no.
They all have their own agenda, ones that are not recorded in the history books.
But people need hope to survive, as such these ‘heroes’ are glorified.
The very gods they pray to, laugh at their expense as they gamble with their lives.
Even so… Everything has an exception.
There have been such selfless people in the past, albeit rare.
There are gods that do care about their subjects.
And there were people, or rather monsters would be a fitting term for them, who had been truly evil. Who never had a goal but to sow chaos and take lives for no apparent reason.
However they don’t appear very often, one may appear every few centuries, and even that is not guaranteed.
But, what about this story?
Will this be the common trope of holy knight versus pure evil, or will this be something different altogether?
