Tarla has lived among her flock of little red fruit bats all her life, and the world can be a big, scary place for fruitbats. predators lurk behind every bush and every cloud, but when she is pushed out of her flock, Tarla finds an unlikely friend in a gigantic, elderly python named Karai. Together, the pair will travel across the land of Aekera in search of a new place to call home, and with the help of her new friend Tarla will learn that the world may not be exactly like what she expected.
