This is a side project I do just for fun. It is a much simpler project than the other ones I’m mainly working with right now. A few weeks ago I watched one of Boards of Canada’s music videos. (Dayvan Cowboy was the song) which features clips from Joseph Kittinger’s insanely high parachute jump (I think he did it in 1960). This and a picture of a female silhouette on a beach that I found somewhere on tumblr a while ago suddenly made me want to make a series about an astral projection that goes wrong. 6 months later I think I found out who the model in the photo and who the photographer was. Another photo that seems to be from the session just appeared on my tumblr dashboard. The model is named Arlenis Sosa and the photographer is named Federico De Angelis. This series will be something to have some fun with when I have time to spare. I have no idea when I will finish this. I may blast through it in a few weeks, or it may take a whole year. Who knows? All I know is that it will consist of 48 A4 sized drawings. I'll update with one drawing at a time as I go along.
