Lizzie: *click, click, click, clickety, click, click.* I shoved the bread into my mouth as I texted. I gulped down coffee and slipped on my jacket. The snow had gotten in my boots. My nose was runny. My body was chilled to the bone. I could feel the ignition on the car start.

“5th floor?” said the deep voice next to me

“Yes sir.”

The small room lifted upward and the sliding door peered open.

The blue walls with white trimming looked back at me.

“Lizzie! Finally you’re here! I have so much gossip. You have to sit down.” There my best friend Ari was running toward me. 

I went dizzy and and just blocked of everything she was saying. Everything mushed together into one word. 

Until, "So she is twenty and going to be our new boss. I heard she is really nice but I was also told to be careful and try not to mess with her."

My mind went into full concentration mode. I pretended to know every word Ari just said. "Ok when is she going to be here?"

Ari looked at me, "I told you she will be here in an hour. Weren't you listening?"

I nodded my head. "Yeah must have just missed that part sorry." 

I sat down at my new desk to finally get work done. Working at a tech company definitely has its ups and downs. Although I love programming so everything ends up to be worth it. 

Later: 

"Holy shit she is here everyone act like you're doing something so we aren't fired!" Ari always made a huge seen. She is always so dramatic. 

The elevator slowly opened. Standing there wasn't the new female boss i was expecting. She was tall and had a boy cut. She was also wearing a suit and a tie with a little rainbow flag tucked into her back pocket.

People whispered and tugged at others arms. Although I was so caught up in her eyes. I've never seen anything like them. Her eyes were a stormy blue it reminds me of an ocean or a rainy day. Although not a bad rainy day, a rainy day when you need the rain to come, when it hasn't rained in ages and-

"That's your que." Ari nudged me forward. 

I looked back, "I'm supposed to welcome her!? What if I mess up?!"

"You aren't now go!" Ari pushed me into the isle. 

I walked up to her slowly. "Hello, I'm Lizzie Rose. It is nice to meet you, let me show you to your'e office." I held my clipboard across my stomach. 

Behind me, my new boss stood waiting for me to walk faster, talk, or give her a tour. 

I opened the door to her office letting her in. 

I finally spoke, "This is your office. If you need anything i'm across the hall in that desk right there." I pointed to my small table parked through her window like walls across the isle. 

She walked around looking at pictures and the little nik naks on her new desk. 

"I'll take my leave now." I slowly walked toward the door. 

"Ms. Rose?"

I looked back, "Yes?"

She smirked, "Nice boobs." and winked slicking her hair back.
