The wind calmly blew through the green leaves of the trees. Soft rising mountains framing the blue sky and the setting yellow, pink, and orange sun. The calm breeze sifted through the leaves calmly as the ground suddenly shook violently. Smoke exploding into the air across the large forest treetops.

He flies through several trees, the bark erupting and cracking as the trees crumble. Debris explodes into the air as his back slams against a firm boulder amongst the trees. Coughing up blood as his long blue hair covers his eyes for a moment.

“Worthless… Worthless is what I am right now…” He coughs and clenches his fist in the dirt, struggling to rise to even a sitting position.

“Pathetic… useless… I couldn’t save any of them!” He grits his teeth, using the boulder as a way to hold himself standing. Looking up as someone walks through the forest, covered by the shade of the treetop leaves. His long white hair covers his eyes as he says something.

“Ikati Mia… Hineko… you were the AWA’s last hope to defeat me… and my final obstacle to destroying the world that broke me” Mia looks up from under his own long hair, his eyes a deep blue as blood poured from his forehead. Scars across his face.

“You don’t get it Akio… no matter how much… I lose, if I keep trying, I’ll eventually win!” Mia pushes off the rock and jumps toward the villain, flames pour off Mia’s knuckles.

“I’ll bring you back to the AWA, even if it means scarring each other to near death!” Akio looks up from under his long hair, his eyes glowing red. Mia clenches his teeth for a moment before swinging his fist, when he freezes, vomiting up blood, a massive hole gauged out of his lower right abdomen.

“Wha-” Akio suddenly uppercuts Mia, then kicks him back down to the ground, Mia’s eyes lose their shine as he watches Akio approach.

“How did it… turn out like this?” Mia hits the ground. Memories flashing through his mind, Yosu playing guitar, Mia punching Daiki through buildings, Mia getting drafted to attend the AWA in middle school, getting bullied by Chloe in preschool.

“My life… is flashing before my eyes… this must be the end… for… me” Mia’s eyes fall heavy and close.

Mia suddenly jolts sitting on the bed. His breathing was fast and heavy and his heart raced. He quickly glanced around, where was he? What happened?

“Wait… this is…” Mia looks at his hands as he tries to catch his breath.

“Must’ve been a bad dream…” Mia recognized the room as the preschool nurses office, something must’ve happened for him to be there… but… what was that dream exactly? It was too real to be fake, that’s for sure.

“Oh, glad you’re awake, Mia” Mia looks up at the nurse, smiling as she turns the corner into the room, her dyed pink hair falling over her shoulders.

“Ms. Hana!” She calmly smiled.

“Now, we were worried about you, Mia… from what your teachers told me, you suddenly passed out in class… Any idea what happened, buddy?” Mia looks down and around before shaking his head.

“N-No… sorry” Ms Hana smiles and nods.

“It’s okay, as long as you’re fine now… let’s get you back to class, shall we?” Mia slowly nodded and hopped off the bed. Following quietly behind Ms. Hana. ‘What exactly was that dream…? And…’ Mia exhales and rubs his arm. ‘Who were those people?’ The nurse holds open the classroom door for Mia as they walk in.

“Go join your friends, i’ll talk to your teacher” Mia tightly holds the edge of his shirt and nods. He turns and walks into the room, all eyes falling on him as his heart races. ‘S-stop staring… please..!’ Mia tightly closes his eyes as he walks, suddenly freezing in place. Looking to the corner of the class where a new kid sits. His black hair combed to the left and he wasn’t focused on Mia. A strange and uneasy aura rising from him. His eyes were dry and gray colored.

“Hey… A-are you okay?... w-what’s your… name?” the kid looks up slightly shocked at Mia who stood just a foot or so away.

“You aren’t... afraid of me?” Mia tilts his head slightly.

“W-why would I?” the new kid looks down with a calm smile.

“My name… is…” he paused for a moment, slightly hesitant “Rue Achlys” Mia smiles, noticing his hesitation.

“I don’t know why people tend to hate you, but you seem nice, my name is Mia Ikati, nice to meet you, Nohan!” Rue looked up confused.

“Nohan?... Where'd that come from?” Mia looks away sheepishly.

“You… seemed to not like your name… so I just called you something random…” Rue’s eyes widened and softened with a smile.

“Right… thanks, Kat… a nickname for a nickname is only fair…!” Ma smiles brightly.

“Y-Yeah!”
